Welcome to Watervale Primary School
Watervale Primary School prepares students for future challenges by focusing on educational excellence in a happy, vibrant learning environment that is highly valued by the community. We are committed to providing a balanced quality curriculum in a caring environment, where differences in people are valued and respected.
Watervale Primary operates three classes. Specialist staff offer science, music, French and Health/PE, and support special needs, LAP and pastoral care. Enrolment trends remain strong with one third of students travelling from out of town, some attending middle school for Year 7.
The small school environment creates a family atmosphere where children enjoy small classes and are encouraged to nurture relationships with others. The school focuses on building partnerships between staff, students, parents and community, to develop a positive learning environment and values-based education. Respect, honesty, excellence and joyfulness are embedded in the positive decisions and actions of the school community, including student awards and assemblies celebrating success.
Leadership skills are developed and the input from SRC is valued by the principal, staff and governing council. The community takes pride in the school, its students and their collective achievements, enthusiasm, energy and commitment.
